职责描述:
1. proactively work with oems and internally drive the adoption of new technology in preparation of upcoming opportunities
2. develop an understanding of commercial vehicle end users (fleets, drivers, etc.) to determine future product needs as well as new ways to market
3. develop a solid understanding of customer pain points & needs
4. establish relationships within customers at multiple levels to accomplish goals
5. identify target oe customers and target projects
6. serve as lead to develop an understanding of customer value propositions, market opportunities, and customer willingness-to-pay within the commercial vehicle and automotive markets; identify highest value projects for fsip development efforts and assist product managers with creating development roadmaps
7. work closely with product managers on channel roadmap alignment and help support updating the roadmap based on insights gained
8. serve as fsips primary contact in industry trade-groups and associations reporting back learnings and opportunities to fsip leadership
9. develop and present business cases to senior management for new technology development programs (incl. pbc process for new technologies that require engineering input)
10. identify and establish formal relationships with development partners - both end-users / testing partners and technology development partners
11. provide regular read-outs to senior management on prototype product performance and customer acceptance
12. identify size of market and target customers for initial sales
13. develop go-to-market plans for newly developed technologies and support delivery of initial sales
14. expand share-of-wallet at existing customers through the adoption of new technologies
15. serving as primary commercial lead for project management of new technology commercialization
16. closely collaborate with marketing on new product launches
任职要求:
1. bs in engineering, computer science, or other technological or quantitative field
2. 7+ years experience in general business areas to include engineering sales and marketing
3. 5+ years experience working with automotive or commercial vehicle oes commercializing new products
4. understand and communicate within a technical environment
5. strong team-oriented personality with excellent customer-facing personality; eager to learn and take on new challenges
6. organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required
7. ability to communicate scope, expectations, plans and hold team accountable for project commitments
8. excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
9. self-motivation, strong commitment to completing tasks, organization, and time management
10. thrive with fast-paced, multi-tasking, project workloads
11. demonstrated skill with presentation & communications tools such as ms office, visio, etc.
12. fluent in english
13. ability to travel on short notice up to 50% of the time
